Originally planned as a large scale activation at the 2020 Chicago White Sox Home Opener, this project took on new meaning as US Hispanics are disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This version of the Spanish anthem, commissioned by FDR in 1945 and performed by Jeidimar Rijos, the winner of American Season 1 of La Voz, honors all Hispanics who are on the front lines of fighting the coronavirus.
